Our very welcoming restaurant is open Monday - Saturday evenings. We use the freshest, local Scottish produce to provide homely meals to our guests. Whether you are looking for something romantic or just somewhere to rest after a long day in the office or exploring the city, we are sure you will find a retreat in our Victorian dining room.

We are open to non-residents please call to reserve a table.

STARTERS

Soup of the day
Prawns marinated in olive oil, garlic, spring onion and tomato
on a bed a Lettuce served with crispy focaccia
Grilled Halloumi with salad leaves and a chilli dressing
Chicken Satay Spring rolls with a soya sauce dip

MAINS

Pan seared chicken breast on a bed of champ potatoes
with redcurrant jus and vegetables
Pan seared salmon on a smoked applewood and dill potato cake
with a watercress sauce
Ribeye Steak served with crushed rosemary new potatoes with a
shallot and tomato jus
Ricotta and Spinach open Ravioli with a pesto, tomato shallots and
olive oil dressing
Strips of Pork mixed with new potatoes and plums with a pork and
apple jus with vegetables

DESSERT

Cheeseboard with a selection of Scottish & European cheeses
Mackies Scottish organic ice cream with amaretto biscuit, strawberries, flaked almond and drizzled with amaretto Liqueur
Lemon drizzle cake coated in a citrus syrup and served with Chantilly cream
White Chocolate and Cranberry Parfait
Sticky Fig Pudding with a caramel sauce served with vanilla ice cream
Freshly brewed coffee with tablet or shortbread
